Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of machine learning models and predictive analytics solutions.
  • Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive business growth and optimize operational processes.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into data science solutions.
  • Identify and apply statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability.
  • Provide thought leadership and guide the data science team in the adoption of new tools, technologies, and best practices.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders through reports, presentations, and data visualizations.
  • Mentor and support junior data scientists, fostering their growth and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies.
  • Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (PhD preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics roles.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
  • Expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn).
  • In-depth knowledge of statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and data mining techniques.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale databases.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Proven ability to lead data science projects from conception to deployment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
  • Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision.
  • Knowledge of reinforcement learning and deep learning techniques.
  • Experience working in industries such as finance, healthcare, or e-commerce.
