Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of machine learning models and predictive analytics solutions.
Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive business growth and optimize operational processes.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into data science solutions.
Identify and apply statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
Build and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability.
Provide thought leadership and guide the data science team in the adoption of new tools, technologies, and best practices.
Communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders through reports, presentations, and data visualizations.
Mentor and support junior data scientists, fostering their growth and development.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies.
Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (PhD preferred).
5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics roles.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
Expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn).
In-depth knowledge of statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and data mining techniques.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale databases.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Proven ability to lead data science projects from conception to deployment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision.
Knowledge of reinforcement learning and deep learning techniques.
Experience working in industries such as finance, healthcare, or e-commerce.
